How To: Upgrade your Toccare One Mini firmware

It is possible to upgrade the Toccare Mini control panel firmware on Master (TD595).

The tool used to update fw is Flash Magic (Version 7.40.3104 or later). Moreover, it is necessary to have two specific serial cables normally provided with the panel.

Master Board Firmware Update General Information

To update the firmware, you need to load 2 different Hex files:

• FLASH_ONEMINI.hex

• SPIFI_ONEMINI.hex

• SPIFI_LOGO.hex (optional)

How To Upload The FLASH_ONEMINI.hex File

  • Move the JP4 jumper to the upper side

  • Move SW1 to the right side jumper

  • Insert the Serial cable (board side connection) into the DB9 connector

  • Insert the Serial cable (PC site connection) into the PC computer

  • Switch off the panel for 10 seconds and switch it on again

At this point, the buzzer will start to sound.

Personal Computer Side:

Run Flash Magic.exe

  • Select in the “Select” field LPC4088 in the ARM Cortex menu

  • Select into the “COM Port” field the used serial port number (ex., COM1 or COM4)

  • Select into the “Baud Rate” field 57600 or 115200 value

  • Select into the “Interface” field None (ISP)

  • Select into “Hex File” the FLASH_ONE.hex that is necessary to program into the board

  • Select into the “Oscillator (MHz)” field 12 value

  • Check “Erase all Flash+Code Rd Prot”

  • Check “Verify after programming”

ATTENTION! This selection is VERY important.

  • Press the “Start” button.

After about 10/30 seconds, the programming operation will start. The time required to program the board is about 10/12 minutes.

How To Upload the SPIFI_ONEMINI.hex File

Switch off the panel for 10 seconds and switch on again.

Do not remove any Jumper.

Run Flash Magic.exe

  • Select in the “Select” field Generic SPI LPC4088 EA in the External Flash menu

  • Select into the “COM Port” field the used serial port number (ex., COM1 or COM4)

  • Select into the “Interface” field None(ISP)

  • Select into “Hex File” the SPIFIONE_MINI.hex that is necessary to program into the board

  • Check “Erase blocks used by Hex File

  • Press the “Start” button on the Flash Magic tool.

After about 10/30 seconds, the programming operation will start. The time required to program the board is about 5 minutes.

How To Upload the SPIFI_LOGO.hex File

By default, the panel will have the Eurotech Logo: if you need to change the logo to a custom logo, please follow the procedure:

  • Switch off the panel for 10 seconds and switch on again. Do not remove any Jumper.

  • Select in the “Select” field Generic SPI LPC4088 EA in the External Flash menu

  • Select the “COM Port” field and the used serial port number (ex., COM1 or COM4)

  • Select into the “Interface” field None(ISP)

  • Select into “Hex File” the SPIFI_LOGO.hex that is necessary to program into the board

  • Check “Erase blocks used by Hex File”

  • Press the “Start” button on the Flash Magic tool.

After about 10/30 seconds, the programming operation will start. The time required to program the board is about 15s.

When all the files needed have been updated:

  • Move JP4 to the downside

  • Move SW1 to the left

  • Remove the serial cable from the board side and from the PC side

  • Press Y4 button
