How To: Perform a Toccare Walk Test

Showing you how to perform a 'Walk Test' and test Output Modules on a Toccare panel

Toccare Walk Test

From the home screen, press:

Main Menu > Log In > Access Level 2 (22222) > OK >
Maintenance > Test > Sensor Modules > Walk Test > Loop
  • The green LED on the panel next to ‘TEST’ will turn ON.

  • All devices will appear on screen as greyed out.

  • As each device is successfully tested, it will change from grey to green.

Note: After testing 9 devices, the individual device LEDs will no longer activate, but you can continue monitoring test progress via the display screen.

To finish the test and return to normal operation, press:

Back (x5) > Reset > Yes
  • The green LED on the panel next to ‘TEST’ will turn OFF.
    Then press:
    Back (x2) to return to the home screen.

Testing Outputs

From the home screen, press:

Main Menu > Log In > Access Level 2 (22222) > OK > 
Maintenance > Test > Sensor Modules > Sensor Modules
  • All output modules will be displayed in white.

To activate an output:

  • Select the output module address number.

  • The selected device will turn green, the output will activate, and the green LED next to ‘TEST’ will turn ON.


To deactivate the output:

  • Press the same device again.

  • It will revert to white, and the green LED next to ‘TEST’ will turn OFF.

Exiting Output Test

Press Back (x6) to return to the home screen.
